Setting up a canvas
A plain illustration canvas is created automatically when Clip Studio Paint is launched for the first time.You can draw and paint on the canvas to create your artwork.
To create a new canvas with your preferred settings, go to the File menu > New. In this dialog, you can set the canvas size, resolution, and so on, as well as create canvases for comics, webtoons, or animations.
You can edit the settings such as the canvas size and resolution using the File menu > Change Canvas Size or Change Image Resolution.
