Input Process and Output Process of Sub Tools

The following describes what sub tool input process and output process are.

In CLIP STUDIO PAINT, a sub tool operation is defined as a combination of an [Input process] and [Output process].

Input process	Indicates how to specify the tool.
Output process	Indicates the target to be created or processed.

For example, for [Lasso] and [Selection pen], the [Input process] and [Output process] are set as follows:

Tool name	Input process	Output process
Lasso	Lasso	Selection
Selection pen	Brush	Selection

In the examples above, how the tools are specified (input process) are different but the operation "Create selection" (output process) is common to both.
